Sanj Cooper, LCSW-S

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker supervisor (LCSW-S) with 12 years of experience supporting individuals and relationships through life’s challenges with warmth, clarity, and compassion.
I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and fully themselves.
I take a grounded, body-informed approach to therapy, helping clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, physical experiences, relationships, and sense of self. My work focuses on creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore what matters most to them and develop a deeper understanding of their needs and boundaries.
I have particular experience supporting clients as they navigate:
- Identity and self-exploration
- Relationships and interpersonal connection
- Communication and boundaries
- Consent and relationship dynamics
- Polyamorous and consensually non-monogamous relationships
- BDSM and kink-related experiences
- Queer and LGBTQ+ experiences
- Personal growth and self-understanding
- Navigating changes and transitions in relationships
I recognize that there is no single way to build a healthy relationship or define a fulfilling life. They work collaboratively with clients to understand their individual values, experiences, and goals rather than imposing assumptions about what relationships or identity should look like.
Whether someone is exploring their identity, working through relationship challenges, establishing heathier boundaries, or simply trying to better understand themselves, I provide a space where clients can approach those questions with curiosity, honesty, and compassion.
